Michael Thomas, D.O.

Dr. Thomas is a board certified neurosurgeon specializing in minimally invasive spine surgery. He treats diseases and injuries to the spine and peripheral nerves. Treatments may include spinal injects or surgical interventions.

 

Dr. Thomas earned a B.A. in Biology at William Jewell College in 1987, a degree in Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery at Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery in 1991 then completed his neurosurgical training Long Island Jewish Medical Center/Schneider Children Hospital/North-shore Medical Center affiliated with Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He also completed a spine fellowship at the University of Miami.

 

Dr. Thomas obtained his board certification as a Neurological Surgeon in 2001 and has helped countless patients with spinal pain relief through minimally invasive procedures. Dr Thomas is a member of the Back Pain Centers of America network, The Congress of Neurological Surgeons and the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons. His approach to patient care starts with compassion for the patients and their pain. He will examine the patient, make an accurate diagnosis and develop a treatment plan tailored to the patients needs.
